Legal Policy

Modern Slavery, Child Labour and Forced Labour Policy

The Modern Slavery Act is a globally leading piece of legislation enacted in the United Kingdom, coming into effect on the 29th of October 2015. The Act was introduced to address concerns surrounding modern slavery, human trafficking, exploitation of workers, child labour, and forced labour, both domestically and internationally.

At Intuition IT Solutions Limited, we understand that these crimes are severe violations of fundamental human rights, and we are deeply committed to the safeguarding of our workers. We are resolute in ensuring that slavery, human trafficking, child labour, and forced labour practices are not present in our supply chains or any part of our business.

Here’s how our organisation takes direct action to combat modern slavery, child labour, and forced labour:

  1. Due Diligence
We thoroughly research and monitor our supply chain partners to ensure they have no association with modern slavery, child labour, forced labour, or human trafficking within their procedures. We strive to work with established suppliers who share our dedication to ethical practices. By conducting detailed risk assessments, we are able to identify and flag potential issues that may be cause for concern.
  2. Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct strictly prohibits all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking. We explicitly inform employees of these regulations and expect all internal stakeholders to comply with these principles. Any form of exploitation or illegal labour is considered unacceptable, and we hold ourselves accountable to the highest ethical standards.
  3. Training and Awareness
At Intuition IT Solutions Limited, we believe in raising awareness and educating our employees and partners about the risks and signs of modern slavery, forced labour, and child labour. We provide regular training programs to ensure that everyone in our organisation is well-informed and able to identify and address any potential violations. This training is crucial in fostering a workplace where ethical practices are upheld and human rights are respected.
  4. Transparent Reporting
We maintain an open and transparent reporting system that encourages employees and suppliers to report any concerns they may have regarding modern slavery, child labour, forced labour, or human trafficking. All reports are taken seriously, and investigations are conducted promptly and confidentially to address any potential violations of our policies.
  5. Supplier Engagement and Audits
To ensure that our supply chain adheres to our ethical standards, we engage with our suppliers regularly. We conduct audits and assessments to evaluate their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act, child labour regulations, forced labour laws, and other human rights-related policies. If any supplier is found to be in violation of these principles, we take immediate corrective actions, which may include terminating the business relationship if necessary.
  6. Collaboration with External Organisations
Intuition IT Solutions Limited works closely with external organisations, including charities, government bodies, and other businesses, to stay informed about the latest trends in modern slavery, forced labour, and child labour. We actively participate in initiatives aimed at eliminating exploitation from supply chains and are committed to strengthening our global fight against these human rights violations.
  7. Continuous Improvement
We recognise that tackling modern slavery, forced labour, and child labour is an ongoing process, and we are constantly reviewing and improving our policies, procedures, and practices. We regularly assess the effectiveness of our actions to ensure we are doing everything possible to prevent these forms of exploitation from entering our business operations.

At Intuition IT Solutions Limited, we are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards and ensuring that modern slavery, child labour, and forced labour have no place in our organisation or supply chain. Through our proactive approach, we aim to be a leader in the fight against exploitation, contributing positively to the well-being of workers and communities around the world.
