Create "As-Is" and "To-Be" plans: document current SAP EHS landscape, define target SaaS solution architecture, map gaps and risks, and produce a migration roadmap with dependencies and cutover steps.
Act as SME for SAP EHS topics regarding migration, archiving, and decommissioning.
Lead the implementation of archiving strategy for sensitive personal information (SAP ILM), ensuring GDPR/local privacy compliance, anonymization/pseudonymization, and secure long-term storage.
Manage PII handling during migration/archiving: define controls, encryption, access policies, and audit trails.
Plan and lead decommissioning of SAP technical infrastructure (servers, middleware, interfaces, batch jobs, platform services), ensuring minimal business disruption.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Tech, EHS, Data Protection/Privacy, Security, and vendors to align requirements, timelines, and risk mitigation.
Manage the technical budget: maintain cost estimates, track spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, report to program governance.
5+ years software/IT engineering experience; 2+ years in a technical leadership role (or equivalent).
Experience leading SAP migrations or landscape projects preferred.
Hands-on experience with SAP systems (ECC, BASIS, ABAP interfaces) and integrating SAP with non-SAP/SaaS solutions.
Experience planning and executing infrastructure decommissioning and technical cutovers.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Problem-solving experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, etc.) is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
