MS Fabric Architect

Overview

We are seeking a MS Fabric Architect to design, implement, and manage an enterprise MS Fabric data architecture. The role focuses on integrating and organizing data from multiple sources (Haystack, Snowflake, Databricks) with strong expertise in Azure services. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and compliance across data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data architecture strategies leveraging Azure technologies.

• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and understand data needs.

• Create data models, blueprints, and architectural frameworks aligned with business objectives using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.

• Integrate data from multiple sources including Haystack, Snowflake, Databricks, and others.

• Optimize data workflows and storage strategies for performance and scalability.

• Ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance across all sources and applications.

• Promote data governance and best practices in collaboration with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications / Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.

• Proficiency with Haystack, Snowflake, Databricks and other integration platforms.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.

• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and big data technologies, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP knowledge a plus).

• Analytical skills to work with large data sets and derive actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data visualization and analysis (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).

• Knowledge of Python, R, Java for data manipulation and analysis.

• Understanding of data governance frameworks and practices.
